PrestigeStays exists because Melbourne had nothing sensible for people staying a few months.
The gap
Three months is the hardest stay in this city.
Hostels are overpriced for what you get. A few months in a hotel or an Airbnb costs a fortune. And a house or apartment means a twelve month lease, which a lot of people simply can't commit to, plus an empty room to furnish.
So people were stuck choosing between paying too much and signing for too long. That's the gap we saw, and it's the whole reason we started.
We wanted hassle free mid-term living. An apartment that already has everything you need in it, at no extra cost. Bedding and living arrangements that suit you rather than whatever was already there. And a lease length that doesn't hold you back from whatever comes next.
